Wilwood Engineering's 35th AnniversaryWilwood Engineering, an industry leader in manufacturing high performance disc brake systems and components is celebrating its 35th anniversary today. Their Camarillo, California facility currently employs approximately 250 people and stocks hundreds of different brake calipers, rotor designs, master cylinder designs, as well as a wide assortment of brackets, fittings, valves, and brake lines.

Although the brand is syonymous with motor sports enthusiasts, Wilwood’s off-shelf brake calipers range from tiny calipers for go-carts to heavy duty original equipment brakes for the U.S. military Humvees. Wilwood also manufactures brake systems and components for agricultural equipment, industrial applications, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, quads, and motorcycles.

In the early 1990s, Wilwood began Tier 1 Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and supply with off-highway vehicle braking systems. Since then, Wilwood has built their reputation of their core ability in rapid development of custom engineered brake systems that combine off the shelf and custom components.
