Ford, Chevy and Chrysler, Car and Truck, Front and Rear Axle Shims, 2" Wide

These aluminum axle-pinion shims are a must when dialing in your suspension. For 2" wide rear leaf spring setups, these items help correct your rearend to driveshaft angle and eliminate vibration during operation at all speeds. Misalignment is common on lowered and lifted vehicles making these shims a critical small tool. Degree required will vary depnding on the amount of drop or lift.

Our axle shims are also an important item when you have added power steering to your vintage straight axle front end. Original straight axle front ends came with minimal caster angle to make steering easier on the driver. When power steering is added, the caster angle must be increased or "road wander" becomes prevalent. This added with an old chassis design can become quite trying at high speeds. When using on straight axle trucks with power steering, we recommend the 6 degree shim.
