Our 1955-57 Chevy Belair power rack and pinion steering with bracket kits are an exclusive design. These Tri-5 rack and pinion steering kits are far superior than the competition and is the perfect solution to improving the steering on your Classic. This kit is specifically designed for the fullsize Chevy car. This rack and pinion has been developed with the correct ball center dimension to eliminate bump steer, and our mounting bracket is far superior compared to others on the market. This is a direct bolt-on application. No chassis modifications needed. Greatly improves your handling and steering, while maintaining road feel.

Notes:
Installs on Big Block Motors have been done, but are more difficult as it will require three u-joints, a support bearing, and probably modification to the headers. This kit has been used for big block, as well as LS1, LSX, and ZZ4 motors (with modifications), in which the bracket is slightly different by changing the location of the rack for more clearance for oil pans.
Requires additional items to complete installation including: pump, pump brackets, hoses, steering ujoints and intermediate shaft. Will not work with front OEM style motor mounts. Will only work with drop spindles that require bolt on steering arms.
