Our 1949-51 Mercury suspension kit has new tubular control arms with ball joints eliminating sloppy king pins. These kits are matched to your specific vehicle, saving you time and money. This is a complete "Bolt On" kit. No cutting or welding is required! New Spindles have about a 1" drop when compared to the original uprights.
Springs available as follows:
- Stock Height
- 1" drop
- 2" drop
- 3" drop
Kit includes:
- Front Coil Springs - 1", 2" or 3" Drop
- Matched Front Shocks
- Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms, 1020 DOM tubing with heavy duty construction to eliminate deflection
- Upper and Lower Ball Joints (installed)
- Upper and Lower Control Arm Cross Shafts (installed)
- Upper Control Arm Mounting kit
- Spindle and 11" disc Brake kit (assembled) (4.5" Ford Lug Pattern)
Notes:
This kit includes 4.5" lug pattern
New Spindles have about a 1" drop when compared to the original uprights.
Works only with disc brake applications, no drum brakes.
Factory sway bar will not work with this system.
