Our 1947-53 First Series Chevy Truck and GMC Truck Front Power Disc Brake Conversion kit is great for the enthusiast who wants the added safety but Classic look. These kits work very well and use popular GM brake parts. Mounts to the original straight axle using the popular 6 X 5.5" lug rotor
Kit includes:
- 12" x 1.250" Brake Rotors
- 6 x 5.5" bolt pattern
- GM D52 Calipers w/brake pads
- Dust caps and spindle nuts
- Rubber Brake Hoses
- Caliper mounting brackets
- 8" dual diaphragm booster with bracket and pedal assembly
- 1.00" bore master cylinder and proportioning valve
- Hardware
Available upgrades:
- Drilled and Slotted Rotors (shown in picture), Add $84.65pr.
- Powder Coated calipers available in Red or Black, Add $42.86pr.
- Stainless braided hoses, Add $49.00pr.
Notes:
May not work with factory 15" drum brake wheels. Utilizes original wheel hubs which came with ball bearings. Tapered Roller bearing upgrade available
